Billing questions
- How does billing work?
- Pro is billed monthly or yearly, Team monthly, through Stripe. You get an invoice by email for every payment.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, any time, from the billing portal (Pricing → Manage billing). Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then drops to Free. Nothing is deleted and every tree stays editable; you just cannot add private trees beyond five until you make room or upgrade again.
- Do you give refunds?
- We do not give partial refunds for unused time unless the law where you live requires it. If something is broken and we cannot fix it, email us and we will sort it out.
- Is there a free trial?
- The Free plan is the trial: build, analyse and share without an account. Sensitivity, risk and value of information are open on the built-in templates so you can see them before paying.
- What is a Team seat?
- Team covers up to five editors in one account at a flat price. Viewers of your public trees and embeds are always free and unlimited.
- Can I use it for a course?
- Yes. Students use the Free plan. Instructors who want the Pro analysis for a whole class can get a course licence; email hello@decisionbranch.com.
- Is VAT or sales tax added?
- Stripe adds tax where we are required to collect it, based on your billing address, and shows it at checkout.
